Commitments from Fellows
- Full attendance at all five sessions is required.
- Create a project implementing the tools and knowledge gained in the program and following the guidelines shared in the program in Fall 2026.
- Participation in a Fall 2026 presentations luncheon (date and time to be determined).
Time Commitment
- Four two-hour in-person sessions and one three-hour in-person session (includes curriculum, practice, and project work time) on main UC San Diego campus.
- Implementation of project that includes time to rollout project.
- Two hours to attend and present projects in-person at a Fall 2026 luncheon (date and time to be determined).
All sessions will occur on a Friday:

| Session 2: April 24, 2026, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. |
| Session 3: May 1, 2026, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. |
| Session 4: May 8, 2026, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. |
| Session 5: May 29, 2026, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. |
| Final Project Rollout: Fall 2026 |

Qualifications
- Must be faculty employed at UC San Diego through the end of Fall 2026 who are engaged in research, teaching, laboratory or studio activities.
- All members of the UC San Diego community are welcome to nominate a faculty member to the program.
- Interest in developing empathy in self and others.
- Interest in understanding others’ perspectives.
- Detail oriented, organized, dependable.
Applicants will be assessed on their responses to the below prompts. The selection framework ensures the identification of candidates who align with the program’s goals and demonstrate the readiness to contribute meaningfully to dialogue-based initiatives and projects.
