Campus Community Centers and Programs

Campus Community Centers and Programs at UC San Diego serve the entire campus community. These centers and programs provide support, resources and community that empower all Tritons to find their place and thrive.

Asian Pacific Islander Middle Eastern Desi American Programs & Services (APIMEDA)

APIMEDA provides community and retention support for students. Programs help all students—especially those from the Asian American, Pacific Islander, and Southwest Asian/North African American communities—find belonging at UC San Diego. Support and resources encourage community development, foster greater visibility for the diversity within the APIMEDA community and help students gain skills for success in their future careers.

Black Resource Center (BRC)

BRC serves the entire UC San Diego population while emphasizing the Black experience. The BRC collaborates with various campus departments to provide resources and services that inspire students to choose UC San Diego. Additionally, the BRC offers support services, mentoring, professional and leadership development, co- and extracurricular opportunities and nonacademic counseling to support students throughout their academic career.

Cross-Cultural Center (CCC)

CCC provides a place of belonging and validation for students, staff and faculty from underrepresented and underserved groups. The center also builds critical engagement and learning about diversity and social justice at UC San Diego. Through social, cultural, academic and professional programs that build leadership and cultural competence, the center helps the campus to understand and increase equity, diversity and inclusion. Centrally located and always abuzz with creative and enlightening workshops, lectures, and more, the Cross- Cultural Center is a place to discover, connect and succeed.

Intertribal Resource Center (ITRC)

The ITRC – open to all – is dedicated to creating a welcoming space on campus and a supportive community for Native American students, faculty and staff by offering academic support, cultural awareness programs and social activities. Through a variety of workshops, lectures, symposiums and other programs, the ITRC creates opportunities for the campus community to learn about and engage with important issues in Indian Country.

LGBT Resource Center (LGBT)

The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Resource Center is a diverse and inclusive public space for all members of the campus community to explore issues relating to sexual and gender identities. Educational programs promote wellness, wholeness and solidarity among students, staff, faculty and alumni by developing knowledge and visibility of diverse queer people. The center also offers social justice training, workplace equity education and academic research support.

Raza Resource Centro

The Raza Resource Centro is a space for all to converse and connect around intersectional Chicanx Latinx identities, Latinidad and cultura. Comunidad is cultivated through murals, a vibrant community space and interactive learning opportunities. Programs offer academic, leadership, identity, civic, volunteer and professional development to strengthen community, identity development, retention and student success. The Centro also hosts community-building projects focused on advocacy, co-curricular and civic partnerships designed to enhance holistic student development.

Women’s Center

The Women’s Center serves as a resource for the entire campus community while focusing on the experiences of diverse women. The center provides education and support regarding gender issues. Programs provide opportunities for experiential learning, promote self-awareness, foster leadership development and encourage critical engagement with gender, feminism and social justice. This dynamic family-friendly community space serves as a home away from home for many on campus.

Disability Resources Hub

The Disability Resource Hub is an initiative launched in 2026, built upon the advocacy and collaboration of students, staff, faculty, alumni and community members across the UC system and beyond. Open to all, the DRH brings people together to foster disability culture, community, pride and belonging through education, resources, programming and partnerships. Through this work, we will create a campus where disability is prioritized, recognized and celebrated.

PATHways to STEM (PATHS) Program

PATHS is a four-year undergraduate program that provides enhanced access to targeted academic preparation, multi-tiered mentorship, personalized student support, identity development, early career identification and summer research program or internship placement through an infrastructure of resources and support for scholars in STEM. This program aims to promote excellence in STEM so that scholars may emerge as leaders who not only survive but thrive during their undergraduate experience at UC San Diego and well beyond.
